Hello World! is a piece of contemporary classical music for clarinet-violin-piano trio composed by Iamus Computer in September 2011. It is arguably the first full-scale work entirely composed by a computer without any human intervention and automatically written in a fully-fledged score using conventional musical notation.

Opus one is arguably the first fragment of professional contemporary classical music ever composed by a computer in its own style.

Modular synth generative feedback patch driven by feedback between flip-flop chaos (nlc), a vclfo and logistische gleichung (klangbau köln). Two simple voices and filtered noise. Some reverb from spring reverb.

Vcv-rack and a machine composition patch - or generative patch. Minimal but some of the voices are constantly "doing things". . . I tried to add some sort of steady beat to this one. Wanted to make it less wild/wierd. Quantizer? what is that. Let the virtual synth decide.

Some sort of poor mans quantussy x 3. Am-modulation delivers some nice sounds. Deep blurp. Beeps and nonsense. This is generative modular synth music. Machine composition. The machine is a small analog modular synth. Beep!.

I recorded one hour of machine composition. I did not listen to it. I did not open the file in audacity. I told my fb fiends to give me a number between 0 and 57. I got 42 (what else). This sound is minute 42 to 45 from my one hour recording. The rest is deleted. Gone.

I made a tonal quantussy recording. The bass always plays a low c. The 5 tracks are selected from one 15 min long recording. The synth creates defined tracks with different character.

Okay i have to find the cycles. The start of a cycle is where the oscillator play in (about) unison. One cycle begins at 1:22. 82. Does it end at 1:57. 35?i might create a track called "selfie in three cycles". . .

5 quantussy cells controlling 2 oscillators, 1 wave folder, 1 filter and 1 drum module (bmc analog drum). Even the pitch of the drum is controlled by one of the quantussy cells. The drum sound to fed to the feedback in on doepfer a-199 spring reverb.

Machine composed electronic music - or experimental generative atonalelectronic music made with an analog modular synth. Some results from two machine composition recording sessions. The modular is a machine. I compose the patch. The modular/machine composes the music. I don't want to call it auto composition, algorithmic compositionor generative. This is machine composition!. Formatted for use in the make noise morphagene. This reel was used in the morphagene: plane of composition video. It consists of several splices of equal length to be traversed through linearly or nonlinearly. Audio is counting from 1 through 8 with various text-to-speech voices. The output has been edited so that the numbers appear at the same time in each splice for plane of composition traversal.
