I created this sound that look like a rattlesnake sound thanks to a tambourin and cymbal record. I made repeat those two percussion three times. When one is finish an other one start, and this 3 times. I added between them an effect that end the sound and start a new one.

I heard a sound off to the right when i was recording some cat birds in the evening on 9/16/2020 in northeast ohio.

I have no idea what this was. I don't know if it's my voice or an external sound i didn't hear while recording. It was found randomly on my most recent recording of playing containment breach, and it was very quiet, so i increased the volume to try and figure out what it was, but it's still a mystery to me. Sooooooooooooo. . . . Here ya go!.

Message 1-3 are captured by nasa, but recently even other countries have registered very strong, but short signals. The receivers are masers and the frequencies are in the higher gigahz range. Message4 was from russia.

Last message in a series. This time lots of receivers around could download signal. Mathematics analysis could find two words from what seemed to contain advanced maps of some kind. The two words were : asteroid coming.

Spoiler alert: hair dryer recorded from across the room with some noise filters. Accidental. Do whatever with it.

A medieval troubadour playing alone a melancholic music, in a room of a big castle. This is a synthesized sound produced with zynaddsubfx, trying to emulate the medieval instruments and atmosphere.

An mp3 recording of a rather scary sound created by suddenly pressing the pedal of a piano down, which slightly vibrates all of the strings. The sound is rather suppressed and not very loud, so not a big startling sound. Recorded with a black digital ic sony voice recorder.

Old sound i uploaded years ago and never described until now. Software made, using addictive drums with a lot of reverb effects, subatomic vst, gort's minipiano soundfont. Plugins used: camelphat3, camelspace, black_box, bouncing ball delay, ambience, and a bunch of stock fl studio reverbs, eq's and delays.

Another very old production, i think this one's from around 2009 even!. Using the reverb of a chord i made on my guitar i created a drone-y, washed out sound. Added some subtle bitcrushed drums, cymbals and a vst synthesizer plays some notes to fill it out a bit, and a dark brooding bass-like instrument pulls up near the end of the track.

A fairly blatantly-serum synth i made a few years back when exploring serum. Has a mysterious vibe. Used in my track "hanaus".

This is some small patterns i made and mixed basic filters time pitch all accross and finally put some bells with a very very short programmed arpeggiator. You will not hear the arpeggiator over all the other effects ;).

Several different species of frogs croaking and droning. Recorded with my iphone at raccoon lake near centralia, illinois at night. There is a big splash near the beginning from something in the lake, which gives it more of an air of mystery, i think.

A recording of flushing the toilet’s water, followed by a groaning door closing sound. Production stages : this sound was originally recorded by a group of students at university lyon 3. Then it was imported to audacity where few modifications were made. First of all, the record was precisely cut so there are no human voices in the background. Then, the sound was normalized and slightly compressed before applying the noise reduction effect. Last, but not least a constant gain was added at the beginning and lightly fading effect took his place at the end. Le son est cannelé et constant et finisse par le son de la porte qui est métallique et aigul’attaque du son est rapide et forte, plutôt abrupte. Le grain est frémissement et rugueuxet l’allure est naturelle, désordonnée et aléatoire.
