Recorded using jez riley french contact microphones, on a windy day on the south coast of england. I connected a pair of contact microphones to different parts of a metal fence and let the wind do the rest. Starts off gently and gradually the intensity increases as the wind picks up. You can hear the fence rattling and a ambient drone of the wind blowing.

This was a recording taken on a small train riding around the louisville zoo in kentucky, usa. I took this towards the end of the tour, and was on the back of the train so you can hear the announcer quite clearly directing us. Sorry if there’s some talking in the background, i was siting next to my aunt’s little foster child at the time and he was enjoying himself quite a bit. I captured this sound on my canon powershot a460 digital camera. It was a horrible night, with strong winds and heavy rain. I went to my garden shed and positioned my camera at the small window inside my shed as there is a small hole in the right hand corner of the window, and through this small hole the wind blows through it making this whistle sound, almost like a flute.
