My only contribution was adding a bit more oomph to when the gun fires so it feels wrong to take any credit for their genius. This is the sound of a plasma cutting system. Recorded while cutting a big piece of metal scrap from 100 years ago. It was a machine used for textile works. And now, we are selling these scrap which makes me kind of sad. . . I wish i could put some pictures!.

I recorded a transformer with a guitar pickup then broadcasted it from a speaker, then re-recorded this sound, waving my mic at the speaker (like a light sabre). Add a bit of chorus and voila, it's that light sabre sound. Could be a bit more beefy, you can add some sub or something, anyhows, hope some of yous get some use out of it anyways innit???!.

Amateur guitar play from an old cassette (memorex 120, 1 of 2) recorded in 1984 when i was 15. Plucking 1 or 2 strings to a tune of my own making. This was an experimental recording session, using two tape recording machines. (ghetto blaster & hi-fi tower) take - 3 with takes 1 & 2 impositions playing, creating a final 3 track recording. Two previous takes (two track recording) playing, while recording a third track.

I've fiddled with this sound for a while, its 22 layers of base tones, atmosphere and static blended together to create a heavy, powerful sounding beam weapon. The finish is a slowed, lowered and reverberated tone from a french horn.
