This is just a remake of the annoying/endearing catch-all for the flying fairy thing in those zelda games. Thought it be fun if people had something similar to use that was clearly recorded.
Cute jump sound made using synth and distortion. Please let me know where you use it, always interested to know!. Www. Daleaudio. Comtwitter @dalegrins.
This sound was created in audition by using three sample tracks with altered pitches for the sound of the timer countdown. I used an altered 8 bit sample for the explosion, bringing out the low range and lowering the high range with a 30 band compressor.
Another song made in musagi. It loops from a certain point, and i made it repeat twice and fade out. You can insert more repetition with a sound editor.
By using the noise channel on beepbox. Co, i recreated the sound of a helicopter. . . At least, how it would sound in a nes or sega master system game!.
Edited a default preset in bk-synthlab's free "vs-1 oscilloscope" synth and hooked it up with a free midi sequencer vst (hyperion) and placed thrillseekervbl on the master. This was done using headphones back then so the sound may not be optimal on some playback devices.
This is a sound of my own personal design for work. Enjoy! i hope you find this "retro" sound useful for one of your projects!. - christopher c. Courter.
