I was wondering how to make a glitch soynd since i was downloading a lot of that. Ended up making this beat type thing. ( needs compression). I recorded my self saying "how the f%%k do i make a glitch sound!?" i reversed the f word for censorship. Then it use the mix modulation function in caustic's modular synth to modulate it with a 909 beat & a 8bit synth sound.

A short segment as i played along with the ramones' song: my brain is hanging upside down. I recorded it on my roland td-9 module and edited it in sony sound forge and sony vegas. There's a slight buzz that i get and i tried to clean it up as best i could with noise reduction. Someday i'll figure out what is causing the buzz. Please comment on what you may use it for. A crowd of tourists disembark from the belle of cincinnati after a tour along the ohio river. Crowd moves from right to left in the stereo image. There may be some mention of stepping in duck poop by one of the tourists, but i will leave that up to you to confirm. 50 claps made in blok modular from scratch. Supposed to sound very unrealistic/dry/drum machine-like as possible so you don't have to sample the real thing. Some of these use asymmetric waveshaping which adds dc offset (0 hz noise) so you may want to highpass the crustier ones. You guys are probably wondering why i haven't been posting many sounds for the last month well number one so i can upload a lot of sounds at once and two i have been pretty busy with track and play practice. So now here is a bunch of sounds that were created by me either covering up or bumping my mic which i hope you will enjoy.

Squeaky audio cable-to-speaker incomplete connection. One end is plugged into a speaker and the other is not plugged into anything. The squeaking sound is made from my fingers touching the tip and sides of the metal tip of the non-connected end of the cable. The variation of sound and pitch is from moving my fingers up and down the metal tip in different speeds, angles, and placements.

I was looking for a sound that fitted a dance studio/recording studio reception area so i mixed a few sounds together and came up with this. It has traffic sounds, various bird sounds, indistinct chatter, a thumping bass in the background like in a room on the floor above and a harmony group practising somewhere else in the building. Could be useful for a radio play, movie scene or theatre play.

It's a recording of sounds of an old store refridgerator. The recorder (zoom h2) was put into the fridge. There are sounds of fridge getting opened and closed, started up and stopped. This is the warm up then lift off of an erickson sky crane. It was operating out of the central cascade mountains in washington state, in the us. This helicopter is for fire fighting, and can carry 3,000 gallons of water or retardant to a fire - it's enormous. There are only 31 sky cranes in existence, and in august of 2018 we have two of them fighting fires in our surrounding mountains.

One morning i woke up and found i had a mouse/rat trapped, but still alive. Coming hair: you can hear the typical crunch of tangled hair being combed out. You can hear the hairbrush gliding through the hair. It varies in tempo and rhythm to add realism to this sound. As she struggles with the knots it is slow but picks up tempo as her hair becomes less tangled. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg in a recording studio. Great for any make-over montage or scene.

I live next to a car repair place and they have a couple of hot rods that they fire up now and then. This is a '55 chevy and to me the idle sounds like a dragon breathing. He does a couple of slight burnouts and you can hear the echo off the buildings. Recorded with my yamaha pocketrak and edited with sony vegas with one track duplication. A recording of morning birds and other morning sounds (cars, bicycle) made in barnet england around 6am on a fine day on the 15th june of 2022. As it was near the solstice the sun was already up. The recording was made by poking a zoom h5 portable recorder outside a third story loft window. The microphones are the stereo pair included with that unit, with a windjammer.

I recorded people blowing up fireworks in my neighborhood last night with a zoom 6 using the stereo mics. Then i isolated individual sounds and tweaked the eq some in adobe audition, then ran those sounds back-to-back to make these "machine gun" sounds. Let me know what you think? This is a knife i use often at my workplace cutting different materials. It’s called an ofla knife- they’re pretty small and can retract and come back out again with a drag of a switch. This is me dragging that switch up and down, slowly for each individual tick and then all at once. I know in this recording the background isn’t completely silent, i’ll try to reupload a recording when it is at some point.

Iphone recording of a group of people sitting in a theatre in downtown boston, ma, prior to a film screening. The room was perfectly tempered and acoustically treated, and people were talking at a relatively normal level without echo or reverberation. It was too good to pass up recording it. At first, there are people talking near by, but towards the end, i am further back and the group chatter effect can be noticed in whole.

Recorded around midnight in mount saint francis woods in southern indiana on the kentucky border on a dr70r with shotgun mic. Not loopable as the wind picks up over time and is noticeable when you loop back to beginning. Light editing in reaper (eq down some wind sounds, splicing out distant traffic). The bluetits are nesting in our garden and i've been filming them coming and going. They often perch and sing before going into the nestbox. Today, i was wake up in 6:45 am in morning. My mom going texas children hospital to flu shot for covid-19. My mom bought me blueberry muffin,my sister chocolate muffin and my mom bread. My mom going home depot and kroger. My mom buys cheese, lettuce, tomato and chips for nachos. I ate nachos. I was full. At 2:45 pm, i hear rain and loud thunderstorms. I recorded on my phone.
