The sound of an airmoth 948 starting up. It's part of project airmoth, an attempt to create the sound of a fictional aircraft, the airmoth series. Starts with inertia starter, ,engines start and in a bit, it takes off. Made with generated (labchirp) and real sounds.

It's hard to find a good doppler scream and harder to make the effect in sound editing systems. Here's a few falling scream varieties. Just toy with the pitch and you make a variety of plummeting people. Recorded at home on a phone recorder.

Into an air france boeing 777-300 er, between reunion island and paris. We can ear people talking and moving into the plane. At about 1’20’’ the engines slow down. Recorded on 2018/08/16 at 11h25 with an olympus ls100, flat.

A very clean recording (no recognizable voices) of the moment a 737 comes in for a landing at raleigh-durham international airport (rdu). You will hear the sound in flight, the landing gear go down, touchdown, and the airplane begin to taxi back to the terminal. At the very moment the flight attendant keys her microphone, i cut the recording. This keeps you legally safe to use this file. Note: touchdown is at about 55 seconds in. . . Enjoy!. - christopher c. This is a sound i made in audacity by recording myself going "vvvvvvvvvvvvvv. . . " on two separate tracks and slowing them both down by 95% and adding a little bit of reverb. I think it's sort of convincing but i think it would be better if the pulse of the samples being copied a bunch of times kind of gives it away. Feel free to do what you like with it.

This is a very clean recording (no voices or words that can be made out) of a 737 in flight from inside the passenger cabin. We were seated directly behind the wing.
