A hot summers day in the deep swedish forest. Recorded with zoom h5 with two dpa 4060 mounted in a ab stereo fashion. Birds chatting and bugs flying by is major elements in this field recording. Decided not to remove to much of the bugs in post because i felt it might suck out the soul of the recording. In post: in pro tools i removed some low rumble, and and trimmed the highs just a little bit. Added a "pro expander" to lower some noise, both generated by the h5 and the location. Hope you like it.

High winds over night recorded from the bedroom window. Trees opposite are 60 ft tall and bare. Wind gusts at peak 35-40 mph.

At a baby shower and there are these awesome paper pom poms that sounded so amazing when you dragged them over your hand, like wind rustling stiff grass or dry leaves. Lots of variants of speed, direction to give you motion options in the stereo track. I'm sorry about all the wind pops, but if you're okay with a mono track, there are clean passes on both right and left. Recorded on a tascam-dr-40 and cleaned up in audacity. Production-now. Recorded at kingston foreshore at lake burley griffen in canberra on a windy day - people walking and riding past, peak hour traffic going over the bridge, some birds noises and a black swan approaches at the end to get some food.

A recording taken at 6:03 am - 7:03 am 2/3/2023 in northern wisconsin near a pond and small lake. The temperature is -21 deg f and you can hear the trees make popping noises occasionally due to the cold, which is the interesting part of this recording. There is a distant owl calling early in the recording and you can hear coyotes in the distance. Unfortunately trucks in the distance too. This is hour 854 of a 1054 hour recording (12/29/22 - 2/11/23).

Birds singing in the middle of the spring.

Some birds (i think a bunch of crows and a hawk) fighting in a tree near my house. Recorded with a zoom h4n at 96/24. Birds were about 30 feet up in the tee and i was on the ground another 30 feet away. Some light traffic and airplane sounds low in the mix.
