I just stood outside for a little while, recorded the outside ambience, amplified it so it's audible, eqed it, and added some reverb to give it that stereo effect. Outdoor ambience. Recorded in march 2018 at 12:45pm. The recording was taken at an open window from my studio in orange county, california. You can hear birds in the foreground, a highway in the distance, and a motorist with a loud engine rev in an ally below my studio.

Arcade ambience: here you can hear the stark sounds of an arcade. With electronic beats as background and the crashing of machines and games in the forefront. Bumper cars bumping into each other creates beautiful crashes and the laughter and mumbling of children are ever-present. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg in an actual arcade. This sound is great for setting a mood or scene and thus creating a soundscape.

Rain: this is a very subtle rain sound. It is not sharp but it is very constant. The droplets are hitting hard ground. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg. This sound is great to add volume to an already existing rain-ambience.

This is the ambience i created for my sci-fi sitcom accidentally reckless of a dropship of some kind approaching a battlefield (and certain death). The bare bones was created from a field recording of the x-1 bus going down attercliffe road towards sheffield city centre, during a period in 2017 when they were constantly resurfacing the stretch that goes past the swingers club, resulting in the bone shaking rattling sounds you can hear. I then layered on some laser and rocket noises (already uploaded) and some engine type sound effects and shuttle flypast effects that i don't think i've uploaded yet. I hope it's useful for someone else and no need to credit. Just share the freesound love!.
