As these are recorded using binaural in-ear mics, i purposefully attempt not to turn my head to keep the sound clean and coming from the same direction. Of course, if you don't want binaural audio you can always easily convert to mono. This is a recording of me approaching a soda machine in my apartment complex, swiping my credit card in the new, handy-dandy credit card slot, and dispensing a coke zero (in case you really needed to know). In-cabin recording of a qatar airways boeing 787 dreamliner landing at doha international airport (qatar), followed by announcements in arabic and english. The aircraft touches down at 0:47, the english in-flight arrival announcement is broadcast at 3:44, and there is a bounty of ambient noise including seatbelts clicking, bags zipping, and chatter from passengers. This was recorded in-person from my seat with a tascam dr-40. I was located mid-section (just behind the wings) in an aisle seat. Recording of rain outside my house, with mic placed just outside a doorway under a plastic roof. Contains various dripping sounds from droplets coming off the roof and hitting lids of cans, the ground, etc. Recorded with a blue yeti microphone in omnidirectional pickup mode.

I recorded this sound in a large greenhouse where all the plants were getting watered by an automatic system. You can hear the leaves getting hit by water. It might also sound like rain to some if you disregard the background noise of the water rushing through the little streams.

A fire engine approaching, then slowly passing, then disappearing into the distance. This was in gallery place in washington, dc, during rush hour, so traffic was slow; thus, a longer than usual siren.

Series of sounds produced by opening a window to a pattering rain: first the heavy wooden blinds being cranked open and lifted, then the metal latch being turned, the wood-frame window itself opened and its counterweight clanging in the wall, then the storm or screen window being lifted and popping into place.

Stuck my condenser mic out my window during a rain storm and recorded for a few minutes. Recorded at 48khz with a rode nt1-1. High passed around 150hz and compressed a little to bring up the volume.

A digital sounding humming ringing noise, or a ringing humming sound. Not really sure how to describe this what this is, but i liked the way it sounded so i uploaded it. Sound is a paulstretched cello. Used audacity's pitch lower till it made that ringing noise. Was trying to make sound for ambient tracks.
