Postprocessed to normalized 16/44. 1 stereo pcm with cooledit 2000, flac-encoded. An electric light rail train approaches i-25 & broadway station while ringing its bell in rhythm. It stops. Doors open, an announcement plays, doors close, and the train departs.

This was a recording taken on a small train riding around the louisville zoo in kentucky, usa. I took this towards the end of the tour, and was on the back of the train so you can hear the announcer quite clearly directing us. This is a recording of all in-flight announcements from a flight attendant, the first officer and captain during a flight from atlanta to new york on august 17, 2018, recorded directly from the headphone jack at my seat with a zoom h1n. Each clip is separated by a few seconds of silence. For authenticity, i left all the dc voltage spikes and electronic noise in place. This may be useful if you want an authentic announcement without the acoustics, i. E. Use your own speaker sims or impulse responses to fit into an existing sound design environment. I never did figure out why the first officer said "hello. . . Are you back there? hello? hello?" but it has been captured anyway.

Captured at the brand-new castletown branch of sainsbury's. Another of those mindless public safety announcements played at either end of a moving walkway. This time, members of the public are asked to be prepared to get their trolley off the walkway. In surveying the scene, it occurred to me that there was also no other choice! one could, i suppose, deliberately come to a screeching halt immediately after disembarking and my late mother-in-law would have been somebody who did just that! so, i suppose there's some point this after all!.
