An automatic voice announce the end of the walkway in the airport of bangkok. Recorded by a smart headset ambeo sennheiser very close to the speaker (close to the ground). I stood on the platform at the montrose l station with a sony minidisc and recorded the entire process of a nyc subway train coming and going. Low noise, though you may wish to use a high-pass filter as there is so much bass in the material.

There are two shinkansen in the recording: one arrives and leaves at the adjacent platform, and one arrives on the immediate platform.
