Filling up a jerry can with fuel, you hear the pouring of liquid in a plastic funnel, field-recording with a small zoom q3.

This is the zooming sound of a space ship accelerating. This was sampled from a mix of electric vehicle sounds and car noises and synthesized in audacity. If you use this, tell me what project you're working on in the comments :).

One of a series of sounds i made using a small squeeze toy that just happens to be shaped like a cob of corn. I felt like the expulsion of air made a nice swishy ui sound. Recorded with a rode nt1 into a universal audio arrow.

A bit of outdoor sound that is almost nothing, yet provides a sense of realism to conversation or other sounds. A minute and seventeen seconds of loop-able background recorded before seven am.

Now this sfx is my pride and joy. I acted quickly to get materials to work together to make this sound. I pulled a rope through the belt-eyes of some short pants, which would be the ropes releasing from the bag. Then i fluttered the pants to sound asif wind and the parachute material was colliding, making the sound so much more convincing.

An empty squeeze-bottle being squeezed over and over.

I wanted to record the sound of a keyring - or rather the keys strapped to it - make while in mid-air. There are the keys audible, recorded hitting the stack of hay (soft landing) and air blowign into the mics while the recordied has high velocity. I was throwing my recorer with my left hand, while simultaneously throwing my keyring with my right hand. The throw was vertical and the landing zone was a pile of hay. I thing there are some interesting sound here, i'm uploading it unedited to make it possible to cut out whatever you like. Recorded with a flying zoom h2 at 48khz/24-bit, edited, nomalized and converted to flac using audacity.

Flyby of a mavic 2 pro with standard props, recorded outdoor. Different types: drone ascending, descending, flyby forward and backward. Sounds like: starship flying by, drive-by. Recorded with sounddevices mixpre-3, sennheiser mke 600, unprocessed.

Tornado siren in streamwood, il recorded during the monthly test. This version is heavily edited, with some filtering and compression applied, as most of the recording was distorted (i was too close to the siren!), although it should be useable with appropriate filtering to suit your purpose. The actual siren is located a short way north west of the geotag (it should be visible using google's satellite view). Recorded using a rode ntg2 into a zoom h4.

Pulling apart and throwing / dropping / breaking / smashing chunks of ice from the frozen water pooled up over the cover of my swimming pool. The breaking ice sometimes sounds a bit like shattering glass; at other times the sound is more crunchy and wet.
