The ambience of an arcade.

7 sets of wind chimes, one of bamboo & 6 metal of varying tones & sizes from 18” to 72”, played manually in studio, single track, to simulate a brisk summer breeze on the back deck. Recorded on zoom h4, centered, at 6-feet, in soundwell studio, boise idaho usa.

A simple night of rain, taken out in the field.

Midday ambiance recorded in lafayette, in in the columbian park neighborhood. Recorded on a zoom h6. Cicadas, crickets and other insects as well as the occasional car, truck and motorcycle passing by.

This happened by accident: some stuck notes in a vitalum patch with alots delay and white & perlin noise lfos.

Chinese restaurant (portugal) about 10 x 10 mts large with 20 people inside. Sunday 9pm. Chatter (portuguese + other), chairs dragging, some noise from the street behind the big glass window in front; noise from the kitchen (cutting vegetables on wood, frying on wok, chatter in chinese). Mic pointing at the center of the room. In front a big avenue (door closed). On my right/behind is the kitchen on an open space. Recorded with zoom h4n-pro 48 khz / 24 bit. Use freely on your personal commercial and non-commercial projects. Don't put this raw sounds/files on youtube or anywhere else. You can use them in creative way as a part of art-form, but not "re-distribute" as (royalty free) stock material. Thank you.

It is an experiment with sounds and melodies. Old piano have some effects noise, and halftime, reverb, some eq.

After many years of 'lurking' on this website and downloading and using sounds for my projects, i am happy to hopefully contribute something useful to this site. I am not a professional audio tech or anything related, but i do own a zoom h5 recorder and had to make some recordings for one of my multimedia projects. This recording was made at the harbour of scheveningen, the netherlands on february 7th around 22. 00 pm.

A strange ringing sound i heard one day in a basement carpark (parking lot).

Long and atmospheric chord sweep effect creating using a soft synth. It is played as a d# major triad at 125 bpm.

This is another short sound using chinese ghuzeng combined with outstanding plugins. It is for scenes where you can dream and relax. Calm gym atmosphere ambience.

An eight minute long soundscape i made for an episode of an audio fiction podcast. Intended to give the impression of a strange and otherworldly empty void, and to mildly imply sci-fi machinery with a spiritualist undertone. However, could easily be used for other projects where you want to create a feeling of discomfort, or of being in a strange and empty place.

A hostage, a lightbulb, a camera. A hard conversation and a lot of uncomforable silences. This sound is part of the weird roomtones and silences soundpack - a compilation of synthetic ambiences and silences meant to enhance a neutral atmosphere in the desired direction. The filenames usually describe an imaginary situation that i imagine would need the particular roomtone, often influenced by movies i've watched. >>>> you can use the soundpack as you wish, but i'd be happy to hear your feedback. Rome, sound ambience recorded from my window during the 2020 lockdown. Quiet, dogs, few cars, distant voices.

I was just trying to recreate some monster sounds & came up with this. I overlayed a few sounds on top of each other, some of the sounds are mainly me sneezing but stretched. Other than monsters, it sounds something from underwater too. Regardless, other people may interpreted it as other types of soundings too!.
