Doepfer a-119. Maybe not the coolest module on the market. But i have plans for this little friend. Bought it used. "module a-119 (external input / envelope follower) is designed to allow external audio signals to be integrated into the" (from doepfer home page) modular synth. As delay i use joyo analog delay.

Modular synth patch where two envelopes are involved in a chase. There could have been a rhythm, but i let chaos disturb theharmony. The triangle wave sounds are "distorted" in a wave rectifier. Kind of metallic sound? interesting. The kind of patch only an owner to a modular synth findany interest in. Maybe a little more interesting then theprevious sound. . . This has an ambient feel. Why?answer: different wave forms, changed envelopes and reverb. A lot of reverb. Do you find any use for some part of this sound let me know!the "ground/root pith" is 122hz. . . Almost a b. . . But not really. I tune my oscillators without caring about "real" tones. The quantizer makes the steps between tones.

Chaos controlled sounds from an analog modular synth.

Okay i have to find the cycles. The start of a cycle is where the oscillator play in (about) unison. One cycle begins at 1:22. 82. Does it end at 1:57. 35?i might create a track called "selfie in three cycles". . .

Working with feedback. This is just "work in progress". But cool. When this "neuron" doesent have contact it gets upset.

I'm trying to find a place for "rnd modul logistische gleichung" in my modular. Okay this is a to long sequence. . . ? and unstable. But interesting. Makes it a little generative.

You will find a pattern. . .

Some sort of poor mans quantussy x 3. Am-modulation delivers some nice sounds. Deep blurp. Beeps and nonsense. This is generative modular synth music. Machine composition. The machine is a small analog modular synth. Beep!.

Really simple patch. Cv from nlc sloth to quantizer (doepfer a-156), via attenuverter. Triggers from doepfer a-160(161). But a tone is only generated if there is a change in cv from sloth. Its not 100% generative :-) first there is no cv connected to the oscillators. I connect them one at a time. The noise is also controlled by the same sloth. The analog delay is connected to barton musical circuits (bmc) 4 quadrant multiplier and panner acting as a panner, controlled by nlc jerk off (still a sick name on a great module). The ehh drum sound is generated by bmc decaying analog noise.

A bass line created with uoki-toki polivoks vcf as sound source and doepfer a-124 wasp as filter. The wasp filter is modulated by dinsync modseq.

This sound was made with 3 lfos, 1 vco and 1 vca. It was decided that the sound should be 30s. It took some tries for me to set the lfo that controlled the vca. The vca controls the output amplitude of the sound.

Just had to make another stereo patch. Feels nice to be back in stereo. Need more patch cables. . .

Droid kinda sounds from the lovely polygogo eurorack module. In this case it was processing cv input from an external lfo. Useful for laser sounds, droids, future computers, etc.

5 minutes of chaos. Never the same. Nonlinearcircuits jerk off (a discontinued jerk circuit module) and genie playing a song for you. Or controlling. Creating. Composing. Whatever. . . Nobody will ever be able to recreate this. Not exactly. This is unique.

Just a couple of clappy noises which get noisier as it goes on.

I made a waveshaper in the js audio language that applies random math operations to the signal. The original signal is liteon's (of reaper forums) lorenz attractor synth, which is then run through the waveshaper, then that signal controls the pitch of a soundwave. Later on i waveshape the resulting soundwave but i don't think it has the best results (dc offset city). A lot of the cooler sounds/series of pitches are made by changing the number of operations on the fly, or shuffling a new set of operations for the waveshaper to use.

One patch. A little of wiggling. Different outcome.

My plan was to make a simple krell patch with some added timbre on the voice. The patch got bigger, fm-modulation and feedback in different form was added.

X and y comes from the nonlinearcircuits sloth lfo (regular version). X is the high sinus c, left channel. Y is the low triangle c, right channel. X and y goes to comparator resulting in a note when crossing the threshold. At the same time x and y goes to cv in on jupiter storm generating two glissando paths. The two used osc's on jupiter storm are tuned to the same pitch.

The definition of entropic is having a tendency to change from a state of order to a state of disorder. An example of something entropic is a building which is being demolished. This is an not that entropic version of the entropical paradise patch made in vcv-rack.

1 looping envelope and 2 vclfos in a dance. I think its harder for this combination to find a nice pattern - equilibrium. It happens sometimes. Maybe the mixture between positive and negative cv confuses the modules. Makes it harder. I start the recording with the looping envelope in non looping mode. After about 19 sec i switch to looping-mode. Records and hope that a pattern should emerge. This time there is a pattern. Yay! not 100% stable but that's perfect!okay, it is harder to recognize patterns when a sequencer is involved.
