A fairly simple patch in vcv-rack. Reuse/feedback of cv makes the patch change in a nice way.

Feedback loop involving jupiter storm, a-147-2vcdlfo and a-101-1 vactrol vcfcv injected from 2 x sloth and intellijel quadra expander in quadra moodsome spring reverb. After ~1min i switch "noise core disruptor" (jupiter storm) off. Evaluation of patch/soundone cycle is about 28 sec - goodonly short sounds - badamplitude variation - goodpitch variation - goodtimbre variation - goodmusical value - low to mediumentertaining - high, or what?. The sloth has two outputs x and y. I connected x to control frequency on one oscillator and y to control amplitude on another oscillator. Frequency experiment on left channel. Amplitude experiment on the right. The file starts as the amplitude is 0. Next time the amplitude is 0 (almost) is at about 48 sec. Then 48 sec later, at 1:37 the amplitude is 0 again. The two cycles are not identical. The tones are harder to analyze. . . X and y outputs. I guess those corresponds to x and y in a coordinate system. I was trying to do some nice synth arpeggios. You know the ones you can have looping forever. Ended up with this. I have switched of the synth now - promise!dissenjoy this! :-).

Dybby am chord made on modular synth. The 3 voice oscillator mfb osc-03 is tuned to an am chord (saw tooth wave) (tuned by ear. . . ). The sound is going to an uoki-toki polivoks filter in band pass mode and to a vca. From vca to zoom ms-70cdr tape echo effect and back to modular and into the ladik r-330 reverb. From reverb to mixer and out module to computer and audacity. And to you :-).

Actually a quite simple patch with not many modules involved. A rewarding patch! have to take some notes. Fm-modulation off-course. Self oscillating filters. Lfos. Sample and hold. Modular fun! well. . . I think its fun.

the krell patch was conceived by fab wiggler vgermuse, who can be found in the buchla forum!(dcramer, muffwiggler. Org). This is some sort of krell-ish patch. But i don't have an envelope generator with eoc function. . .

A patch generating triggers not that random. . . The triggers are triggering an envelope generator and a sample and hold. The sample and hold cv is quantized following a minor 7th chord rules. Hope you understand. . . Pardon my english. Why this. Answer. I have to start adding something like this to my patches. But i use 3 lfos for this :-/ thats about all i got - right now. The alm pip slope works fine as an lfo too. Square wave this time. Take a close look.

As i was working in an incidental sound i was continuously recording. All i saved was the ending. 2 seconds. But the sound is nice. Something in-between bass sound and bass drum sound… if you find use of it let me know.

Patch with dynamics and variation - or should i call it variations? anyway,working on how to create variations and dynamics in a generative modular patch. I like the silence. . . It sounds like the electronic music of the 60th. I use the same kind of tools. An analog modular synth.
