Hitting a large piece of plywood, recorded with a very cheap and low-quality computer mic. Processed in audacity for echo and added bass.

Typing on a slightly older keyboard (with large, deep keys), recorded with a sound devices 744t.

Airy "khhh" sound, enhanced version. I created the original sample some time in the early 2000s using creative wavestudio when i was playing with a small computer microphone.

I've made this sound with my broken old microphone and then edited it in audacity.

Inserting a 5. 25-inch floppy disk into a micropolis 1053 i metafloppy floppy-disk drive. That's the sliding sound at the beginning. The second knock-knock type of sound is the press-down-and-hook drive latch being closed. The micropolis 1053 is a two-drives unit for s-100 bus early computers. This sound was recorded on the upper floppy-drive.

Used the high pitch alarm that i made and speeded it up 150%. Useful sci fi bleeps.

12. 5 seconds of random typing on my thermaltake poseidon z mechanical keyboard with mx cherry blue switches. Can be looped nicely. Recorded with a roland edirol r-09hr and edited in audacity. If you use this sample, please tell me what you did with it below! links are nice too.

A simple mouse click from the logitech g302. Recorded in audacity using the blue snowball, then trimmed and fine-tuned. Timbre did some remixes, so if you want some variance, there ya go. A late '90s desktop pc booting. The first few seconds are most eventful. Recorded with a zoom h1n, which was not completely stationary while recording (i was holding a small tripod). Includes pc speaker, fan, diskette drive and lots of hard drive noises.

Eastern-inspired synth sequence. Made using aalto (computer music edition) vst plugin. Running fl studio as a host.

I played a staccato chord into a reverb unit with an infinite delay time. The signal from the reverb was sampled into an akai s612, looped and then resampled into the computer.

This is a sound of a spinning cd disk, opening and closing the cd drive. In the background there is a slight noise from the spinning hard disk of the computer. Recorded with my smartphone, the xiaomi redmi note 10.
