The sound of a small stream/brook at big sur pfeiffer beach park.

Moderately flowing stream - jack creek in central oregon's cascade mountains flows out of the ground at the base of three fingered jack mountain. The water comes from a glacier on the mountain a couple of miles from where multiple springs create the large creek bubbling up from the dry ground. This recording was done several hundred feet downstream where the creek was already about 50 wide and only about a foot deep. This is the sound of a small waterfall i have that falls onto some rock steps and into a coy pond. You can hear the water plashing on the rocks and bubbling up through the filters. Also light environmental sounds in the background - birds chirping, someone building something, kids. Recorded with a tascam dr-40, at-875r mic and love.

This is a first attempt to record sound underwater, i build a small hydrophone according to the instruction gave us by digifishmusic, i could probably make it better but all considered i'm pleased whit it. The hydrophone was placed in a small river near where i live, just below the water surface but unfortunately it kept bouncing against the rocks so it's a bit noisy. Enjoy!.

Bullfrogs and crickets at night. The first half of the recording will have some human voices in the background, the second half shouldn't have any voices but does have water noises. Recorded in a horse pasture near portland, oregon in april. The water is from a small culvert emptying into a small irrigation stream.

I've recorded this with movies or games in mind. It's 1-minute long, can be easily looped by a simple crossfade. Check the pack for different "angles" and "views". Recorded with hand-held zoom h2's rear xy mics @ 96khz/24-bits. Converted to flac using audacity.

A mid-sized waterfall flowing into a gentle stream. This is near the road by the grand prismatic spring in yellowstone. The timbre of this smaller fall is higher than the roar of the large waterfall. And you can just make out the gurgling of the stream. But, in general, this kind of thing sounds a bit like static. Sorry it's so short, there was a lot of wind and people talking. This is the second part of a recording an overflowing brook in summer, out in a farmer's field after a rainstorm. This one is pretty clear but there may be some artifacts created by my phone being jostled, or other sound sources in the area, but it's long so those could be easily cut out. Edit it however you like.
