This is a small jam i recorded myself on my diy spring reverb circuit i've built for a friend. It sounds really good with music. In this session, i've only used coninuous triangle/sine/square waveforms and jammed on my for pots: input gain,hp filter cutoff, feedback amount, output gain. I'm sorry if the recording clips sometimes, but there's a big dynamic so i couldnt see how much loud it was. Feel free to take it and use it for sampling or sound design layering.

A sound cue i designed with a euphoria synth pad from garageband on my macbook pro. Track used to underscore a powerful scene between 2 residential school survivors for the theatre production called 'nicimos: the last rez christmas story'. The play ran from nov. 24 to dec. 19, 2014.

Free drone. Recorded using homemade contact microphones. The os-xx samples consist of different recordings of fans, fridges, espressomachines, etc. The sounds are pretty raw, i added reverb, and cut some sub. I can, on request hand out the raw recordings. Enjoy.

The "concrete cello" pack is a collection of scraping, scratchy and droning improvisations on the cello focussing on the creation of sounds to be used as base materials for future compositions. They were originally recorded in 2019 to be used in as sound design elements for the documentary "hotel regina" by director matthias berger for which i composed the music. Part of the impetus of this sampling session was to create cello sounds that would be remiscent of construction machines. (if you look on the geotag you can see the machines, well, sort of). A space-like sound. I imagined it as an airlock seal engaging in outer space, and the overwhelming sense of isolation through a shifting 8k tone. Believe it or not, i generated this sound not for battlestar galactica, but a courtroom scene on a play i designed the sound for.

Part of the record fx pack this sound is designed to be mixed with the actual record content and provides some of the noises people spent ages to remove!this sound covers the needle being placed on the record a rhythmic crackle and touch of white noise. You can extend the crackle section with the file record noise2 underscore file.
