A reverse 20" mapex ride cymbal. Captured with a sure sm57. Noticeable lack of high end, however, it can still be used for song intros etc. (no reverb or any other effects were added to this sound).

Sound professionals ms-tfb-2 binaural microphone set, 12vdc battery box, sound devices mixpre-6, recorded at 24/96, normalized and downsampled to 16/44. 1 stereo in cooledit 2000.

Recording sounds create with my mouth, reduction of the speed to 40% and put the height to 130%.
