I really couldn't figure out how to describe this. There must be an industry standard description for what i'm calling a diminishing reverb. It was the metal funnel in a stove top espresso maker as it was rolling on a tile counter and got got in the tile grooves.
Impulse response recorded from a bursting balloon in the st. Carolus church in vienna/austria (karlskirche). Measured reverberation time (rt60) is 5. 0 seconds average. Recorded with a measurement microphone k4 by arnold esper on the ground level of the church, 8 meters distance from the source. For measurement and analysis purpose, can be used as convoltion reverb also.
Sound created using the wooden rod inside of my coat closet, and recorded on a zoom h2 recorder. This effect was used to create a sort of dungeon ambiance in a musical track. A decent down some steps, some creepy creaking, a little chain movement action, and it all seemed to fit ok. Check it out here: first trackhttps://brookinthebirchwood. Bandcamp. A piledriver repeatedly banging in an urban setting. An echo is produced similar to the plastic ticking a warped audio cassette makes in a tape player.
Sound of microphone echo being near the speakers. Recorded in small room. In record you can hear differend sounds that are related on microphone distance , and some clicks being added while recording.
