I build it in fl studio (32bits) with the soundfonts plugin (the soundfont used was "sgm")overdubs were done with a "strings" sample and the rest was just the pure instrument with eq and reverb. (it also includes a subtle piano and choir).

Culls from a recording. I thought the scratchy pick up & fret noise sounded useful, so there it is. This is a 1969 teisco del rey "tulip" et 100.

All i did is that i recorded and played a little riff on my violin with my ipad, and then add some reverb, and delay effects in audacity. (very eerie-like, but pretty). This kind of reverb used in the beginning and end of the riff is a cathedral room-like sound, and a few seconds of delay. I used mostly double-stops during the riff. Enjoy.

It's nearly impossible to find sound effects of someone handling an instrument and not playing it. . . At least it was until i uploaded this!. This was an acoustic guitar, but can be pitched up or down for similar smaller or bigger instruments. There's rubbing, knocking, and gliding fingers over the strings. No need to credit me. In fact, this record i added is not a carefully watched record. It's an arrangement i made overnight. I did, though, because i thought the lovers would come out. It's a little nervous. Maybe a mysterious event can be used in a documentary or presentation. If you want to improve it i can make some effects and editing. Bon appetit :).
