Then i used audacity to import raw data in form of the picture. The resulting sound is obvious if you click the play button on my sample. Did this as an experiement, making a sound out of a visual file. I made several files from different images and noted that they had different sounds. Cheers.

L don't remember exactly how l made it. L made a text file consisting of numbers which l got using lua and imported it somehow with audacity.

This ben burt sound-alike should do the trick in case someone needs an iconic lucasfilm effect. I used audacity to record the file.

I got a request to make the original file even slower. So, here it is. Recorded with my yamaha pocketrak. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).

This was recorded in my kitchen by rubbing fingers on the cooktop of my stove, on a zoom portable recorder. This file is the original recording without any edits.
