Forest ambience with a strong wind blowing through the trees. Distant birds and creaking tree trunks make for a long, placid ambient listen. Recorded on zoom h1n, 24- bit, 48k but reduced to 16-bit, 48k and lossless flac compression for file size. Cleaned up a couple wind pops and filtered below 100 hz in izotope rx.

I recorded this in 2015 as background ambience for an audio drama. I was going into the woods at nighttime to have some insects singing for me.

Murmuration in ireland, on the electricity lines behind my house. Must have been at least one thousand starlings. In this you'll hear them tweeting etc and a whole bunch of them flying.
