Tokyo outdoor night ambience. This is a recording of the shinagawa area of tokyo after 1:00 am. Crickets can be heard chirping in the distance, as can cars on a usually busy road. The trainstation is closed, but there is still some activity that can be heard as well as wind and other night ambient sounds. Recording was made on the 6th floor of a highrise apartment behind shinagawa station. 2 mics placed at a 120 degree angle were used. No filtering was used. The only editing done was removal of the beginning and end of this clip.

This is a part two to the first version i made. This one has a lot more going on but sounds really awesome! can't wait to see how you guys use this in your projects.

*note* the usable sound is at the end of the clip. An attempt at recording the swoosh of a golf club. There is a lot of background noise, including the sounds of crickets and birds, and the sound of stepping in grass. Recorded on a dr07 mkii in southwest florida. Not loopable as the wind picks up over time and is noticeable when you loop back to beginning. Light editing in reaper (eq down some wind sounds, splicing out distant traffic). Individual bullfrog chatter sounds also on profile.

This sound field recording was made back in 2000 on a very late/early morning. I placed the sony microphone ontop of the car outside to record the crickets and cicadas. There were a lot of mosquitos out that hot night. One of them landed on the mic and actually bit the microphone. You have to listen close but the bug bites at about 14:28 and removes the mosquito blood sucker at about 34:28. Recording of the pond near la macina di san cresci in chianti, italy 7/1/18 23:00. Some slight wind interference. A few bugs flew very close to the mic for interesting sounds that you can edit out if you need something unobtrusive.
