When my band was allowed to record after-hours in an industrial space in west oakland, i took the opportunity to show up early to record some of the machines in action. This is a recording of an industrial embroidery machine as it sews on logos to eight sweatshirts. Unfortunately my recording of the glass etching machine in another part of the building didn't turn out as useful--it sounded pretty crazy. Because i consider myself primarily a harsh noise producer, i decided to upload a few examples for those who have ears still virgin to the horrors of terrorous hardcore industrial noise.

This is a really simple beat is based off the beat from a remix of "happiness in slavery" by nine inch nails. I used all my own sounds though. The snare was created by filtering white noise, and adding distortion, then adding an acoustic snare sound over it. Really good for heavy industrial songs.

A recording of a noise of a polish train running, slowing down with the specific metalic sqeaky sound, stopping, accelarating and then running slowly. At the end of the clip there is a motorcycle passing by no the road parallel to the train tracks. Recording was made using zoom h4n on 48khz and 24bit settings.
