Hitting an old, empty oil drum lost in some old woods in various ways (on my palm, knuckle, with a stick, etc) to make different deep bass noises. Natural reverb since it was in a large open space.

Tree being sawed with a chainsaw near my house. The recorder was approximately 30 meters from the chainsaw. Equipment that is used: zoom h5 recorder + audio-technica bp4025 microfoon.

I love the sound on a summer night in our backyard. I woke up at 2:00 am, to minimize street noise, and recorded this. To me, nothing says the great outdoors like owls hooting in the early morning forest. This was recorded at 6:30a. M. On saturday august 29th, 2015 in the shawnee national forest in southern illinois. , in a low spot near a stream in deep woods. Equipment used: marantz pmd-661 and two sennheiser me-66 shotgun microphones. Record volume level was 6.

Water rolling down a creek, over rocks and around a fallen tree, in stereo, with the water sounds moving from one ear to the other ear. We got in the van and drove down a rural road in arkansas, united states. On the side of that road, we found whittington creek. We continued and found where this creek enters a man-made underground tunnel in the city of hot springs. This sound is used in the beginning of a 7-minute video of our adventure:http://elingreso. Walking on wood floor, medium pace, dress shoes. You can hear mild traffic noises outside. Recording with mxl 990 condenser, mic near the floor, used x-hum and z-noise plugins to clean it up. As always, free to use for any reason or purpose, with one caveat. It must be used for good, and not evil :d.
