I did this on keyboard on ableton live.

I used a skateboard wheel and a sink with the water running to create the wave sound.

Another recording of slightly faster/more frequent waves lapping and crashing against a break water/wall with some quite a lot of spraying sound. Again, there is this stereo effect of the waves hitting from left to right. This would be a really good sound for any on boat/stormy sea needs.
