This is a modified version of "earthkiller background 1", the background noise inside a space station. I removed some upper midrange (1700 hz) to make it easier to mix with dialog.
A long echoing foghorn sound, made by blowing into a 10-foot-long pvc pipe in a fairly big, empty room. This is the best of the foghorn sounds i recorded. I think it sounds surprising like a real foghorn in the distance. Nice long reverb/decay after the main sound is over.
I recorded my voice, layed it out on the track and increased the pitch quite drastically. I layered this with a chirp track so as to contrast the downward rhythm with an upward one.
