Sitting in a small cabin in the woods of north carolina, the sound of ice particles (sleet) hitting a stove-pipe can be heard. It's cold. It's bleak. The power has just cut off. Stepping in crunchy snow.

I made this recording by using a metal shovel and ramming it into the icy snow. The snow has been around for a couple months now and has been rained on and turned to tiny ice crystals. It sounds like it could be sand, grainy dirt or rock dust.

A quick walking sound i made for my game using a wrapper and a turtle beach headset.

I recorded this sound while it was snowing in a park made from a small forest and in the same time you can hear few dogs barking that they were at the houses build at the edge off this park.
