I walk from a solid wood floor to a corridor, up a short flight of stairs to another room with a laminated wood floor, then back to the first room. The ambiance changes slightly in the different rooms. I used an sm58 and an irig pro on an ipad using garageband and mastered in cubase.

A recent visit to london and i recorded these sounds with my iphone4 for a project, they aren't the highest of quality (limited by the mic quality on the phone) but they give a good indication and could probably benefit from some eq to make it sound better.

I cobbled some sound effects together to get the sound of footsteps on a rickety metal staircase for the third episode of bloody bold irresolute. It can also work for bridges.

Very strong wind in the beach. I couldn't help laughing blown by tremendously strong wind. My at835st was covered with a wind-protection foam but no use. I dont recommend this file to everybody. It may hurt your speaker system if played loudly. Marantz pmd661.

You can hear sounds of me hitting my cane against concrete, some off-distance humming of cars or planes descending overhead, and me hitting metal objects (i forgot what they were) with my cane. Also, crunching through leaves and other tree branches.
