This track was created by tiz media as an experiment in creating music that may be used by our students for meditation.

A slow, fingerpicked chord progression on a 6-string guitar. I recorded this using my zoom h4n recorder and some external, stereo microphones. The microphones were the samson c0-2 and i had them mounted on two separatemicrophone stands: 1 was pointed at my left hand on the fret board to hopefully get the finger-squeaks, and the other microphone was pointed right above the sound-hole about 3 inches above the opening. Hope you enjoy this, and since it is creative commons, feel free to use this for projects, radio or podcasts. All i ask is that you use my real name, kevin boucher, in the credits. Enjoy.

An early spring bird-recording trip turned into a surprise, steady rain. (*actually, it should not have been a surprise, i just was too lazy to check the weather before i went out exploring nature!). I set up my zoom h4n recorder partially under a picnic table and recorded this wonderful, peaceful light rain falling in a small field of very large white pines, which were growing on a penninsula of a small lake. Every now and then you will hear a bird singing out. Again, recorded using my handy zoom h4n recorder with the built-in stereo microphones. Enjoy. Kevin.

A piece of music i made in garageband for something called victors crypt. The tune starts out with a bassline, pretty slow. But when the beats come in it's a pretty fast paced piece. Kept things simple and just added some low pitched strings and, voices and some reverbed sounds. It ends in a kind of mysterious and spooky way. Suited for anything dark, spooky, eerie, suspence, thrilling for instance. Think it would work great to a game, youtube-channel or episode, movie or whatever you feel like. Tried simulating a squeegee passing over a mesh. I was scratching a jeans with my fingernails. Recorded with h4n - edited in adobe audition.

Ripping off a strip of duct tape.

This is a recording of plaster being applied to a wall in an old house. The tools make a slow scraping sound that might be useful as part of a scream, animal noise, alien, etc.
