Most are done on snare and then again on a single tom, easily looped for duration. They have no verb on them so you can add as you desire for your space. Tabla is percussion instrument with two drums 'daya' and 'baya'. Only the 'daya' drum is usually tuned. For checking the tuning the 'na' bol is played. Recorded using samson-go portable condenser mike at home. Placing the mike too close to tabla was clipping the sound and if placed away, it was not picking the extended resonance. Hence the mike was moved closer after attack, hence the apparent increase in amplitude and some doppler effect is seen.

I've made this out of a few drum samples in fl studio and placed a deep rolling bassline underneat it to make it flow.
