Aerosol spray can squirting. This particular can was full of compressed air. I could almost sense their disappointment as the excited air molecules escape and disperse into what is in reality a rather drab room with a middle-aged man standing in the middle. Olympus ls-5, built-in mic capsules, no filtering.

This is a sound effect of me pumping one of those hand pumps used to hold water or cleaner for spraying. My pumping causes pressure that makes the water bubble (which you can hear in the sound). Recording of clothes in the dry cleaner for a bit longer than one hour. I recorded this in order to use for my newborn to be able to fall asleep as white noise sound. Works pretty fine because of the repetition;at the end of the recording, the machine stops and restarts a few times for a few short cycles. Recorded with zoom h4n in mp3 format. Reduced background noise in audition. Exported to ogg because of large file size.

A recording of my fridge from the interior. The high pitched squeaks are due to the freesound's preview conversion, they're are not present in the raw file. There are some minor clipping sounds that i don't have a clue where could they come from. Something living inside my fridge?. Gear: zoom h6 with xy mics.

I placed the microphone against the bottom of a running dishwasher. The sound goes through a couple of stages. Mostly muffled wet sounds. Recorded with edirol r-1 & sennheiser me66.

My toshiba laptop was on my cooler on my desk for added cooling as well as the internal fan. I recorded it from my iphone microphone.

The sound of an ice maker on a water cooler doing a few cycles. My amazing aunt harriet amazes again by sending me this sound of her ice maker. She taped her old iphone to the inside of the door on her new water cooler/ice maker combo, and let the ice maker run for a few cycles. She even typed up a description of what it does for me so i could post this here on freesound:the water is pumped from a reservoir underneeth the ice tray into a tray above that houses 9 pegs. The water is then cooled to freezing, while the 9 pegs are simultaneously cooled to hold the ice in place. More water is then pumped into the tray to thicken each piece of ice. After a few minutes, excess water is dumped back into the reservoir and ice falls from the pegs into the ice tray. The process then repeats. Enjoy and use however you like!.
