Or with a shower pouring into a plastic bowl. There are some other noises not cut-off but i think they might be usefull too. Recorded with a zoom h2's internal mics.
Water is being poured in and out of assorted ceramic and glass bowls, jugs or bottles. I left a bit of the container's own noise in, such as cork bottles plopping or the filled container being slid over a wooden table, for all your bartenders needs :p a lovely chuckling bottle is somewhere by the end.

Pouring a liqueur into a shot glass. Recorded on a blue yeti microphone through audacity at 16bit 44000hz. Background noise filtered out. Attribution appreciated but not required.
Just good hard rain! no lightening or thunder. . Just solid rain pounding on the concrete outside my door. . I mean - it was flooding! made for some great sound though!!.
