I've never heard so many frogs/peepers so deafeningly loud, persistent and oblivious to humans. I tried to record where the water was running but the animals drowned out the sound of the water. Spring at noon time, a russian olive tree is swarmed by bees gathering the nectar of the tiny yellow flowers. You can hear a distant motor, magpies, and a wind chim. Recorded with an alesis palm track with the recorder placed directly in the tree, resting on a branch. Processed with soundbooth. Nothing added except gain.
