Recording of me flipping an electric switch in the bathroom, when i pitched down & went on to process it with weirdo effects, sounded off an explosion like that of a depth charge.

Several hits on a wok pan lid produced these low pitched metallic rings that were interesting to me. I used a soft foam insulation piece to hit the lid and recorded it with a zoom h5.

This is a completely custom kick i made from scratch using a drum synthesizer and also mixed and edited with a waves puigtech eq modeled after the famous pultec eq and a waves puigchild compressor modeled after the famous $30,000 fairchild compressor. The sample rate is 24 bit/48k and a headroom of -6 or 3db i cant quite remember but nonetheless more than under clipping. Designed with malstroem and basic 64. Malstroem. Graintable synthesis with "random" lfos and a freeware synth called basic 64, that is often used for the reproduction of c64 sounds. But here, the patch sounds like tools. It's a different synthesis, similar to the subtractive synthesis, but not as easy to handle as e. G. A minimoog synth or a prophet 5.

Space vehicle chase with sirens in scifi city. Imposcar & keysalpha2 patches, layered. Glideeffect in impocar used for pitching. The keysalpha (police sirens in the distance) is pitch-modulated with a fast lfo, and you'll find a fat chorus-effect there, an internal synth effect.
