I was playing a game and said "wow" in a really high pitched and flat tone, so i decided to autotune it to make it sound like a turret from portal.

This sound was made in audacity using the in-build dtmf generator. Used some gentle wah-wah.

Useful in video games for when a door is locked. I just used a tts program for the voice. Made in audacity.

My forklift recorded using my phone at work. I just cut out and muted most of the ambience using goldwave (http://www. Goldwave. Com/) to make it more just the hydraulics. If you cut out sections, scramble them and fool around with the speed in the sound, i think you can get a great variety of pneumatic and robot-sounding sounds out of it.

A recording i did with my phone, its a 48volt electric step braking. Its on a working stand so the wheel is moving free.

Sound of an emergency shut-down on a spaceship. A robotic voice is saying "enemy detected" attended by a brutal alarm sound. Maybe in a wide room or hall. I created this sound by using the fl studio speech synthesizer plus several effects. Maybe useful in a video game or a short animation movie ;-).
