I wanted to record some output from an experimental device and in the moment of pluggin it in it caused a hum noise mixture. It sounded nice for something percussive. This is made by feeding homemade images to audiopaint 3. 0 while its oscillators are tuned to randomly-selected scales. Some of them use sine waves, while others use custom waveforms.

This was created by accident while trying to make engine noises. I can't remember the base sample but it's lost in the mix underneath reverb and other effects that create something that sounds to me like the interior of a helicopter. I hope that's useful to someone.

Just makes your ears hurt, doesn't it? could be great for something like a machine having a complete meltdown, or a robot going haywire. Created by taking a stock sound effect of guitar plugs being pulled and distorting, reversing, stretching, looping, adding phaser, flanger, vibrato, tremolo, i can't even remember what else, like there's no tomorrow. All done in wavepad. I also tried to make it loop, but it's up to you whether i succeeded or not.

This sample consists of noise recorded via a hondo strat electric guitar resp. The guitar's neck pickup. Throughout the sample there is a low hum. In the beginning, a mobile phone was moved in front of the pickup. The noise might have been created by the clock of the phone's cpu or the backlight of the phone. After that, one crt display is switched on resulting in a buzz. Later on, a second crt display is switched on, again resulting in a buzz followed by additional noise in higher frequencies. Then, a neon light is switched on, creating even more noise. Towards the end, again the mobile phone. . . The guitar was connected to a scott&noble ht25r amplifier which was recorded with a t. Bone sc450 condenser and a behringer ddx3216 digital console directly into ardour.

Thought i wanted to explore fm-modulation a bit further. The sound is going through my ladik reverb. The vco i'm fm-modulate is the intellijel μvcf. A filter really. . . No editing in audacity. This is the result. Sorry for long sound. . .

It is what the title says "modified doepfer a-124 vcf5 wasp filter"listen and you will understand ;-)i the middle of the sound/beat i turn up resonance. I have connected cv2 to the bass pitch signal. Funny effect.

Real noise of electrical noise.

This is a recording of me opening my flashlight, taking out the battery and putting it back in and closing the flashlight again. It's been a while since i uploaded anything, and i know how common flashlights are in video games so i thought why not.
