Here is a recording i made of my toilet flushing. I used 3 microphones, one placed in the bowl, one place on the cistern and one placed about 2 feet away from the toilet. The mics were fed into a sound devices 664. The only post processing i did was mix the levels. Toilet bowl - shure sm57cistern - sanken cos11main mic - sennheiser mkh416.

Metal thumpy toilet paper holder. I got a last minute laptop gig and had no samples with me- i needed some percussive sounds to tweak in ableton live. I headed to a public bathroom with my edirol r-09 and recorded lots of hits in the bathroom. This one was an -sounding metal toilet paper holder.

A couple of minutes from the waiting area of an automotive tire store with the obligatory television on. The vending machine man is restocking the machines. The coke or soda machine hums and, for added realism, an employee asks for a refund and explains the problem.
