One of a series of heavily processed sounds of me ripping various objects off a sticky surface. I ran the original recordings through s-layer, the sample-mangling plugin from twisted tools, using the granular synthesis features to generate a range of distorted, robotic tones.

Plucking and pulling a rubber band to get some variation in the sound. Originally recorded as foley for a giant slingshot release. Recorded with a zoom h4n.

The sound of a weighted object hanging from a thick braided rope. Birds can be heard in background. Recorded on the zoom h4n with a sennheiser me66 shotgun mic. Unprocessed. Recorded on november 8th, 2014 in orlando, fl.

Flea comb with metal teeth rubbed against glass, plastic, ceramic, and keratin.

A scary, weird sound effect of me saying "huh?" and that word being dragged out. It has a high pitch, and sounds like a good sound for adding some horror or a creepy feeling to the background of a scene. Have fun with it!. P. S. A sample i made years ago. Pitched way down to create a seamless loop of ambience with two automated notch filters and an automated bandpass filter on flstudio's pmeq2. Just me stretching, rubbing and 'twanging' a rubber exercise band. Apologies for the knocking in the first 20 seconds, my upstairs neighbour started moving some furniture. I made this recording for a very specific purpose but i suppose it could be used in an animation or computer game but also for something bondage or kink related?. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution.
