Long recording of a wood cutting session with a small gas powered chainsaw from stihl. I removed conversation so there are some jumps between the wood cuttings. But to compose your own wood cutting scenery, i prefered to keep all the handling, pereparation of wood and different types of cuttings in the recording.

I recorded myself snapping my fingers clapping, brushing my clothes, etc. And constructed from them this percussive loop. It can be used as an add-on loop to any track. Loops a 126 bpm.

Recorded on a tascam dr-100 using a rode ntg2 shotgun mic. Slow paper rip that can be used for slow paper rips ;).

During my exchange semester i took a class called "sound and electronics in theater". We had to do an editing project where i had to make a 30 second sample of the sentence “a large monster charged a whole group of people. Many people died, but then one man grabbed a machine gun/knife and gunned down/chopped up the monster. ”i only used sounds from freesound. Org and edited and aranged them with reaper. Good sound for something flying by quickly.

Created using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ). Here i have used zynaddsubfx for the hoover type sound and 3 instances of glitch2 vst on the drum loop that i created. There is some compression, stereo widening and side-chaining used also. ( i used a higher resolution samplerate to export this file, which created a further glitch effect on the glitch2 vst,i believe it is maybe hardcoded to 41000hz or perhaps lmms can't handle higher sample rates on vst plugins ).

Recorded with an small olympus recorder set on the ground next to an open package of crackers. This medium-large dog has a long mouth (like a echoing cave) and all her teeth, which makes for some hearty crunching sounds. There's a full longer version of her munching on the sleeve of crackers uploaded here tooher collar tags jingle a bit too -sorry about that.

An elderly bathroom extractor fan is switched on with the lights, left running, switched off and eventually cuts out automatically. Its bearings might be about to pack up, or there's something catching the blades, or both! the start was surprisingly noisy so the file has been hard limited to -1db. Recorded with a sony pcm-m10.
