Snares from a jomox xbase09 recorded with a millenia stt1.

Synthesized a snare then layered a bunch of white noise hits on it.

This is a basic dubstep beat. It was done in reason 7. It is useful in that it shows you a good way to construct a beat. It consists of four 4-bar measures, each progressing from the previous. In this way, you can see how to write a good beat, by starting off simple and building from there. Traditional dubstep drums are very spare and sporadic with the use of symbols. I never liked drum beats until i heard dubstep !.

This loop has been created using program garageband 3 using a drum kitharder of the same program.

Native instruments battery3 was triggered by explosion of fireworks. I recorded fireworks and change it into midi notes with logic 7. Smaller signals are played by edirol sd-80 triggered by ambient noises around me.

In this recording you can hear me playing the drums. It is a very bad recording because my equipment is not the best at all and i recorded down in my cellar where the acoustic is not very good!.
