Field recording with zoom h4n recorder of thunder storm. No processing or enhancements.

Recorded in ny at 4:20 pm with a sound devices mix pre-3 and an audio-technica bp4025 microphone (with a rode blimp windshield). One hour and 14 minutes of rain, howling thunder, and an occasional bird. The file was edited and lengthened using goldwave and audacity.

This caught my attention as an unfamiliar sound, and i actually had to investigate to learn what it was. It was the raindrops hitting some styrofoam bodyboards near a swimming pool, which at times sounded almost more like a hollow "pop" than a "drip. ". In the background one can hear thunder, rain, and the humming of a pool filtration system. Recorded with an iphone 7.

Rain falling on my apartment. I´m the last floor and have ceiling windows. I move around the apartment getting different versions. Midway you can hear light music in the background. I also open the window near the end and you can hear a few thunders. Lluvia cayendo sobre mi apartamento. Soy el último piso y tengo ventanas en el techo. A recording i made using my 3dio binaural microphones (and zoomh1 as the recorder). Set up the tripod near the door to my balcony. You can hear the wind against the house, rattling a little in some places. Rain comes and goes, against the glass door. Some cars can be heard outside, on the wet concrete. This is a recording i made during a lull in a storm, i recorded in ortf configuration with a pair of akg c1000's through a mixpre-6. I pointed the mics at my neighbour's house which had an overflowing gutter/drainpipe making the water slap on to the concrete. Recorded 2017 in melbourne australia.

Regular and continuous rumbling thunder. I stood at my back door and recorded the storm as it rolled by.
