The ticking of a clock.

This was recorded during a thunder night in skradin (croatia) in september 2014. A friend and i slept in a tent, but i couldn't with the noise that made the rain. So, i decided to record it with my zoom h4n. . . It's released for public domain: credit is optional, don't worry about it :).

Heavy rain recorded during a storm - some low level car noises are audible due to location of recording. Recorded from my window using a se r1 ribbon microphone, recording into protools. Cardiff 23/7/17.

A recording i made using my 3dio binaural microphones (and zoomh1 as the recorder). Set up the tripod near the door to my balcony. You can hear the wind against the house, rattling a little in some places. Rain comes and goes, against the glass door. Some cars can be heard outside, on the wet concrete. Recorded on thursday, 24th of february in noord-holland, the netherlands. Feel free to use this for any project you might have, and a mention is always appreciated.

Regular and continuous rumbling thunder. I stood at my back door and recorded the storm as it rolled by. No huge thunderclaps or lightning strikes, but a steady stream of flashes and rumbling that followed. If you need a prolonged active storm backdrop, this is it. Recorded on a tascam dr-40. Wind of 40 to 70 k/h (24 to 44 mph) blowing inside a shack. Can be edited to make scary sounds.

High winds over night recorded from the bedroom window. Trees opposite are 60 ft tall and bare. Wind gusts at peak 35-40 mph.

Rain falling on the plastic roof or a bus shelter.

This is the sound of a very large clock ticking while it's hanging on a wall in a room. I recorded this with the built-in microphone of a lenovo laptop.

Recorded on zoom h4n inside a tent and underneath a nylon tarp during a heavy rain fall. It starts off light, and gets heavy around the 4min mark.

Recorded in my backyard with rode ntg-3 / dead wombat on zoom h6 recorder. Starts off with one decent short clap of thunder, but mostly rolling low rumble thunder and some rain here and there. Some of the rain drop sounds are sharp off of metal, some is just lightly hitting the ground. Some nearby trees blowing add to some of the ambiance.
