Late night urban rain in tokyo. That pretty much describes it.

The soft sound of rain hitting the roof of an rv i was in. I set up my zoom h4n recorder and tried to sit as still as possible. Sounds quite nice. Edited to remove some movement noise.

I got into a small crawl space under a concrete road, which seemed to be an old sewage tunnel, and recorded the sound of a car driving overtop of me. It's a gentle rise and fall of a car engine. You can hear me let out my breath as the car drives away.

In this, you are relaxing in the back of a small early 2000's convenience store/cafe lounge. You hear coolers, chatter, the sound of a cash register and debit machine off stage, and general store or cafe lounge sounds. This sound is dedicated to any asmrtists on youtube and is made with them in mind, but you may use this project for other uses. This sound was made by mixing several freesound sounds alongside a recording i did of my girlfriend and a few friends chatting at different volumes to make a completely new and realistic sound. The audio was recorded for a class assignment, during the evening in iowa city. Mostly comprised of very soft background crickets and gentle traffic noises; there are also a few interesting sounds such as radio from passing cars.

Recorded in crivitz, wisconsin. On this dock you could hear sounds from across the entire lake. Recorded in march 2021, while the lake was beginning to melt. Dogs can be heard barking, you can hear cars roll down the streets, and occasionally there are some sounds of people talking, as the lake is surrounded by peoples' homes.

This is a short section of a very small group of people clapping, either to suggest a very small group being polite, or an awkward and uncomfortably small reaction from a larger crowd. The only way to get good classroom ambiance is to record it in a classroom. That's exactly what this is. Recorded in a classroom as the students were studying and the teacher was quietly walking around. You'll hear a few random noises, some papers shuffling, some very muffled dialog, an air conditioner in the background.

Recorded with a blue yeti on the floor (omnidirectional mode i think), cut to make it loop cleanly and boosted up a bit with goldwave.
