A journey from the platform of south woodford, central line, london underground station through to liverpool st where i changed to the circle line to farringdon. Then walked up to street level. Recorded on tuesday 22/9/15.

This was a recording taken on a small train riding around the louisville zoo in kentucky, usa. I took this towards the end of the tour, and was on the back of the train so you can hear the announcer quite clearly directing us. Sorry if there’s some talking in the background, i was siting next to my aunt’s little foster child at the time and he was enjoying himself quite a bit. You can hear the train rumble against the tracks and slowly slow down, as well as some chatter of the riders and passerby. Used this myself in my song bossa nova- https://soundcloud. 45 seconds of sound, recorded near the vladimir central station (russia).

An express train of kintetsu railway passes by at rather high speed. Connecting my at835st to a newly purchased edirol r-44. I actually bought it for need of recording four channels of drums sound, but i was completely astonished by its great ability as a field recorder. Wonderful mic preamps, aren't they?.

A low but fairly clean recording from a small park of starlings scavenging in the trees and grass. There is a low-level hum from nearby water and urbanity, and a train whistles in the distance then its rumble can be heard.

This is a sound of mine that i made, it's a washing machine on a fast spin, it sounds rather like an old british style diesel train at speed. I used my canon power shot a460 camera video to film the washing machine in action and simply took the sound from the video.
