My first excursion into the ambient realm. My friends mimeophon, o-ctrl, morphagene, x-pan, erbe-verbe and the omnipresent clouds took me to somewhere i never thought i'd venture. Basically a very simple sound source, sped up and slowed down in segments, granulated and pasted back together. Quite a wet mix. Shake the drops off afterwards. . .

Recording with a universal audio apollo x and sontronics stc-1 stereo matched pair with ortf config. Recorded on may 8, 2021, at 9:30 am. Time of day when there were more birds in this area. It is a true symphony of birds. Sometimes you hear people talking in the distance and lawnmowers.

Echoey, creepy piano loop from a song i was working on that may never be finished. Created with the "steinway grand piano" patch, in addition to the "echo" and "silververb" plugins, all within logic pro x. If you use this in a song, i request that you link the song in the comments. I like seeing how the things i make are used. :d.

Simple, sad chords with an ambient drum pattern accompanying. I created this with logic pro x and a basic soft synth that come with the software. The drums have some effects from fabfilter's "timeless" plugin, and also some distortion, but nothing too fancy. This is my first sound contributed to the community so they'll hopefuly get more interesting as i improve, but feel free to use it as you wish.

I used some compression and a bit of eq to make it sound like something you'll hear on a gaming console machine. However, the audio spikes from the high freq took me a while to cut off. Can't figure out why it does that but in my opinion it still sounds good :).

There are many ways to "listen" to a computer. The high frequencies are miles from what a human can hear, so you must divide and mix until you hear the computer "speaking". This one: simply placed the am mf coil close to a data cable to a pci slot. The sharp noise is not noise, but clock signals which are divided x times the rattling is caused by every move with the mouse.

I created a chip track to which i added a reverbation effect. I copied it and then rendered both onto a new track. Reusing the same sound , i lengthened the tempo and increased the pitch on the second one. I then reused it a few times to imitate the sound of the ball bouncing off the table, speeding up the tempo and adding a fade out effect. Field recording of a train ride in the western outskirts of paris. I wanted to capture what passengers actually hear when they take that train. It's a bombardier regional train with diesel engine. This is simportant because it gives this particular train a distinctive acoustical fingerprint: you can hear engine bursts (a bit like a bus hitting the gas) no electrical train does that. . .
