A recording on an un-expected but very welcome warm day in january in the northern hemisphere. A recording of the activity going on at a small park in a small town, in a small region. The beginning of this mid-january 2023 recording features some sounds from several people playing pickleball. Towards the end of this audio, the laughter of the kids really takes center stage. By now covid is getting smaller and smaller in the rear view mirror, mother nature has decided to give us an extra 15 degrees of warmth and the adults, and youngsters are having fun just being outside and smiling and laughing. I call this 'lunar wind' becuase its an affected sample that i think sounds like a unearthly wind. I recorded a real life wind and processed the signal with some heavy eq and compression. The sound is 100% continuous recording.

A mid morning field recording on 05 march 2021 in our rural garden. There is a road at the side of the garden but i have removed what i could hear of the few cars that passed by. Also removed sounds of a gate and doors opening and closing. There was a slight breeze that a wind sock didn't entirely prevent coming through as wind noise. I have cut most of this.

I didn't see which bird this was as i was recording a video and kept the clip for this audio. I have cut the volume of a passing car. The bird singing maybe a blackbird, possibly blue tit, robin comes to mind or a starling which do imitate other birds.
