A 3kw electric fan heater switches on, runs for a few seconds, then gets switched off, thus demonstrating my mastery over small electrical appliances. Olympus ls-5, built-in mic capsules, no filtering.
I placed a beta source (co 60) towards a series 900 mini-monitor (gm tube), starting from about 50cm away. Saturation is reached 5cm away. I used a zealsound microphone and recorded directly into my laptop using audacity. The sound is as recorded.
The same bonnie file but this time run through rx's spectral denoise to clean it up a bit. A little bird noise is still audible between the clicks, but pulling samples from it should be much cleaner and easier to isolate. Enjoy.

Recorded with gopro hero 3+ black inside 3d housing. Scuba diving audio with an inexpensive regulator (that's the wheeze), occasional clicks are the selfie stick rotating. Diving at about 20 meters deep, off florida coast in the atlantic.
Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.

My first posted sound effect, this is something made on my synthesizer for fun this morning that i think people could get use out of for horror videos and such, as the sound kind of reminds me of a spider or some kind of creature not unlike one scuttling across a wooden floor.
Just a small sound of me crushing a can, then distorting it and adding so scale-shift. I really like it, sounds like one of those sounds for a ui, like menu hovering(!). ~callum.

Taped a pair of jrf c-series contact mics on a small, very quiet wristwatch to see if i could get a good signal. Pleasantly surprised by the result. Removed the quartz hum and de-noised in rx 7.
A juicer blending fruit, clicking while blending before shutting off and vibrating near the end. (you are welcome to use and edit this, its free for all purposes, profit included). (recorded with a small microphone while preparing a small brunch).
Background white noise recorded inside an rf shielded chamber on a rack in a computer test lab. Constant drone with no beeps or clicks. A bit cleaner sounds when the door is shut perhaps useful for your sci-fi project?.
A broken space heater that clicks. Recorded with a zoom h5 using the onboard xyh-5 capsule to capture a stereo signal and a sennheiser k6/me66 for a mono track. Very minor post processing to balance the stereo/mono and pull the subs out of the side channels.

Some of the best interior door foley i've ever recorded. Very clear, close-up sound of a wooden door smoothly swooshing open, then clunking shut 3 times. Recorded on zoom h4n.
Recorded on an early summer day in poland, very close to a construction site of a big apartment block at the coast of puck bay with my tascam dr 22, you will hear even the clicking of the big power switches of a crane that swung by from time to time :-).
Created this by saying something like, "testing the mic" in ableton, right clicking and converting that audio. Midi > into melody. . Then adding some stock sound and some reverbs and what not. . Try it yourself.
Part 2 of 3, swooshes. While on skype, someone i was calling left the mic on while he packed for a trip. A transmission error caused a unique distortion effect while he was moving gear and typing. These are the swooshes, normally made from dragging objects or sustained rustling. . . I think.
A large gas weed-torch being lit. Includes the clicking of the starter and one false-start then a few seconds of burning. Would make a good flame-thrower sound. Recorded: august 2014, with android voice recorder (mono), outdoors/backyard in the afternoon.
